Introduction to web development.

Joining the Tech space is now becoming the interest of young people and students, especially the web development aspect.

But there are some points to note before joining the tech space which many young people are not aware of. Some people don’t even know why they are joining it, they just join because their friends are into it, which is a very wrong thing to do. The web development sector is not an easy sector to dive into of all the sections in the Tech space because once it gets to the job application aspect, it can be very difficult. You might get the job but because you just joined for the sake of engaging in an activity, you might end up flopping, which might cause you to be fired from the job. What are some key points to note before joining the Web development Section?

1. What web development means

You should make research on what web development means, how to start your web development journey, some hand-holding guides that would help you throughout your journey, websites and channels that you can learn from, and so on. With these steps applied, you are ready to become a self-taught web developer.

2. The reason why you joined.

You shouldn’t just jump into web development, there should be a solid reason behind it. Is it your passion? are you talented in using computers?

These are some factors you should consider before you start web development.

3. The type of developer you want to become.

There are three types of developer in web development

  • The Front-end developer.
  • The Back-end developer.
  • The Full-stack developer.

The Front-end developer: Is incharge of the user interface of a website, they are the ones that design the website in terms of colours, background, navigation bar and the user experience of the website. They are the designers of everything you can see on a website. They are also called UI/UX designers.

– The Back-end developer: Is incharge of the websites security and safety. He/she build and maintain the mechanism that process data and information that performs action on a website. They are involved in data storage, security, and other server-side functions that you cannot see.

The Full-stack developer: Is a person who is involved in both Front-end and Back-end development. That is, a person who designs user interface and experience and also secures the website.

With these in check, you are good to go, except that you have to be determined and consistent.
